How to Replace Trumped Services with Good Ones

 As you may have heard, one of the most potent tools we have for fighting the Trump kleptocracy right now is to unsubscribe from services like ChatGPT, Amazon Prime, Google Workspace, and Apple TV. Big Tech and crypto have been huge enablers of the Trump oppression, visibly supporting him at his inauguration, donating to his misguided White House renovations, and intimidating/firing journalists and critics whom Trump has identified.

But you've relied on Amazon, Google, and Apple for years. How do you drop them? What are good ethical alternatives? You don't have the time to research the options.

Relax. It's not that bad. There are PLENTY of options. Here's a quick summary.

AMAZON SUCKS

For many this is a hard one to give up. But did you know that Costco has free delivery? Ebay often has free delivery and is a great crowdsourced alternative for products that are hard to find at regular stores. We'd rather pay a few bucks for delivery than line Bezos' pockets.

Protonmail is recommended by experts as a good, privacy-first provider that's not beholden to Trump.

APPLE SUCKS

It's tricky when you use Apple devices and have invested deeply in that family of pricey products, but search the internet and you'll find good replacements.
